Skylight Talent is a specialist talent research and executive search consultancy that promotes a fresh new proactive approach to talent acquisition. We combine a data-driven,  research-led strategy with strong collaborative client relationships to enable our clients to plan ahead and reduce reactive agency spending.

My Approach

About Me

My name is Robert Clewlow and I have 9 years' experience partnering with global financial institutions, I combine research-led insight with strong relationship management to help clients make smarter talent  and Exec Search decisions.

My background spans talent strategy, market intelligence, buy-side investment research, diversity initiatives, and executive hiring for tier-one banks and investment firms. I bring a data-driven, people-focused approach to every project—delivering precise talent mapping, meaningful candidate engagement, and actionable market insights through Skylight Talent. I successfully supported a global bank to reach their ambitious diversity targets involving female representation across senior executive roles and a shift in talent acquisition culture.

I have extensive experience working with global banks. Successfully placing myself as a trusted partner by being proactive with my contributions, ensuring they are adding value, and being available when it really matters.

I am academically grounded with a Master’s in International Security & Terrorism and a focus on civil-military relations across Europe as well as the impact of the refugee crisis and the rise of anti-EU sentiment. Before this I studied History at the University of Nottingham. While a student I spent a lot of time working with charities such as Breast Cancer Now, Meningitis Research Foundation, Dementia UK, and Action Against Hunger (ACF).

I enjoy music, finding new bands and love attending gigs and festivals. I’m also a big food enthusiast, always eager to explore new dishes and restaurants whether I’m travelling or discovering new areas.
